  2. Dear All,
An average translator's daily productivity is 2000-3000 words.
What about increasing that ratio into 5000 words?
Using Wordfast, a translator can undertake big and/or urgent projects easily. (S)he can easily meet the client's deadline.
Let's have some discussion on such a topic in this blog. I am sure our lives as freelance trabslators will be much easier, thanks to using Wordfast!

  3. Hello visitors!
I had just created my profile in Language123 and I feel like I need to introduce myself to you. This way you'll be more confident to work with me.

Thank you for giving me few minutes of your life.

I'm Ariela Reis, Brazilian, 23 years old and my first contact with English was around 14 years ago, when I was 9. My mom is an executive lady who knows the importance of learning other languages nowadays, so, since I was just a young girl, I've been learning English.

I studied in a language school for 3 years, later my mom changed this by a private English teacher who was born in London. For long 8 years this teacher made me a fluent person to read, write or talk in English.

Nowadays I feel like English is my second native language. Of course that I have to improve it day by day, also my vocabulary. And I improve my English reading books in English (now I'm reading Angels and Demons from Dan Brown - the same guy who wrote The Da Vince Code and made that a huge success) and I also have many, many many friends from outside Brazil (most of them are from Europe). A huge step to improve the language!

Well, now that you now my past and present history of "How English became a part of me", now I want you to share some future informations about it.

I love new languages. Around fifteen days ago I was in Europe and I passed by 5 countries and each one had a different language, which made me curious to learn them all: Germany, Dutch, Spanish, French and Flemish.

Next year I want to move to Europe and learn, at least, one of them. Later, in this blog, I may tell which one I had choose!

Thank you for reading my first entry.
I hope to meet you here in few days again.
I'll do my best to let it update with great new stories for you to read!

It was a pleasure to meet you.

    See you later!

    Ariela
